The clay workshops were filled with enthusiasts. Alice brought high-fire clay to make elements that can weather exterior placement, and explained how to make the sturdiest pieces. It was a nice mixed age group, and the time flew by!

We hope to make specific pieces as the design evolves, and to weave words into the piece.

Many thanks to the Langley Pottery Studio and Mary Giomateo, at the Langley Park Community Center for glazes and use of their kiln.
